On the Archos 7, I came by chance. When I saw that running Android, I had to strike. The disillusionment came when unpacking. Apps totally restricted, no Google Market or Google Maps. Internet - sought found. Now I have it a firmware update from Archos fans and can download as many apps from the Google Market as I want. Gmail, Google Maps, Google Calendar, all there. I have 290 MB of memory for apps - it's going a lot. The device has a lot of potential. Android 2.2 is in the works and can run on the device. Incidentally run and the Youtube videos of Focus, Image etc fantastic. Smooth one.
