"I think I'm not going to do that, I repeated. I'm not ready. "
So he said and his words were to me like a slap. "I was not ready to take care of you when your mother died. But I did it. "I had no answer to that.
The subtitle of this book announces that it is the story of a homosexual poet and his daughter in San Francisco in the 1970s This is not entirely accurate:
- This story is not only in San Francisco, but also in New York, Paris and even in Britain.
- This story not only covers the 1970s, but the 1980s and early 1990s (until 1992 in fact).
A beautiful story set color Alysia Abbott (now aged forty years), characters and interesting stories, a beautiful story of love and freedom.
I highly recommend this book.
