The Chromebox is in my view not a full MiniPC, but rather to be regarded as a kind of hybrid between tablet, PC, MediaStation + WebCloud. Those already using the Google great deal, it was Google+, Android (mobile, pictures, synchronization), Gmail, Chromecast etc. will delight the Chromebox. The Google Chromebox developers know how to connect everything with everything. For this one should, however, definitely have a Google account, as also feature broadband internet. Are these things available we can start already.
The ramp-up of the Chrome OS takes Felt 5 seconds. This is due to hard disk including the small but very fast 16GB SSD. Furthermore, can be full HD movies without any lag or stream play. Even with multiple applications at the same jerky nothing, but also the 1.4GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of memory has its limits. One must also say clearly that this hardware technology moves more in the low to middle-end sector. Here, however, we must not ignore, in what price range we move.
The LookAndFeel is, as I mentioned, a mixture of Android (phone / tablet), Windows and Ubuntu. The focus of developers is this clear to the networked offer from Google and their compatibility with other Google devices / applications.
Conclusion: Those who wish to have a low-cost computer with a very simple operating system handling order for example fast times to surf the Internet, to use any Google services, to operate any simple home office, or to watch movies, for those the Chromebox is perfect.. For Google-haters; feature), gamers, or people who do not have Internet connection, the box is not really suitable. From my Chromebox gets 5 stars because I am very satisfied with it until now, and the price-performance ratio is right.
