For a more detailed review of the series in general, see my review of volume 1.
In this part 3, we learn a little more about the assistant job, well known manga readers. The wizard does all the dirty work inking, filling sets, etc., while the manga focuses on the essentials of his story and drawing. Volume 3 introduces two assistants with very different profiles, giving viewers insight into these characters who, although working in the shadows and almost anonymous, have not less dreams of one day leave this status have their own series.
It thus feels that throughout history, Bakuman authors will highlight a particular facet of the vast world of creation and publishing manga or by introducing new characters, or by directing events towards a particular problem to solve.
Only one desire by reading the last page of this Volume 3: Volume 4 have hands!
