Auspicious of Rock!

Almost by chance and "detours" (Within Temptation "Mother Earth") I became aware on the Finns from NIGHTWISH a few months ago. In times of "format radio" it is for rock fans so not so easy to discover great bands. And actually I'm not a real "Metal" fan. Progressive Rock is there rather my world. Jethro Tull, ELP, Mostly Autumn, just to name a few ... Axxis, Magnum, Judas Priest in Heavy range ... and even Tori Amos has delivered two brilliant slices on top!
After I added myself all the band's albums in a very short time, I thought, wow, who "somewhat" And since I had already kept the CD "Wishmaster" for unbeatable, I got the new album at first somewhat skeptical.. At the first and second pass something very "grufftigen" guitar sounds had me a little confused. With some delay, this skepticism has but laid! The album "Once" is Nightwish in my opinion in the absolute peak of her creativity. The Zenith This is reflected even in the same commercial success is .... gratifying and amazing at the same time! So far, always been my musical favorites that they do not (or not more ...) taste the "masses" meet. Nightwish is obviously different ... for whatever reason.
In my opinion, "Once" from the first to the last minute awesome, a pleasant shiver chases the next! While hardcore fans complain that Tarja's singing something is "radio compatible" and less "operatic" become. Maybe the musical overall impression is but this increase rather than detrimental. And I found the old discs not yet complete success some keyboard sequences, so this has done to "Once" by the use of a complete symphony orchestra (!!) by itself. It is this constant change between "Rammstein" guitars, full orchestra (or just parts of them), Tarja's vocals and some moderate the choirs is simply brilliant! Strictly speaking, that is the mixture, after I had always "wanted" ... (without that I really knew :-)
Playing tips? No! (Certainly not in 30-second form ... :-) Actually the album contains, in my view not a really suitable chart title. That "Nemo" was still several weeks in the Top Ten, is gratifying and amazing at the same time ... Deja vu This CD is exciting from beginning to end -? Even if this conclusion may not occur until after the third or fifth pass! At most noteworthy is still the ten-minute "Ghost Love Score", the leaves must arouse in me memories of John Miles "Music" ... I have to say more?
Perhaps even more conclusively that I immensely to my first Nightwish concert in October rejoice in Hamburg! Ultimately, the real quality of a tape showing only "live in concert"! Although there is no symphony orchestra will probably stand on stage ... but the band is still young, and it's always good to have still options open for the future :-)
