Autobiography of the King of the Gods

Maurice Druon - the same as the cursed Kings - managed a project a priori difficult: tell the story of Zeus - but also the youth of humanity - in the first person (with ease ...) by giving chronological structure which does not. Indeed Greek mythology brings together a corpus of legends and mythologies that span several centuries and many independent cities. If the similarities are obvious, Greek mythology did not know less than many alternatives.

Mission accomplished, so exciting story that manages to stir all known characters (Hercules, Ulysses, Prometheus ...) and contains many epic scenes. Instructive as far as entertaining.
