After I aufgewachsenbin with Clapton, I waited with interest, but also skepticism on this album.
It offers a good recapitulation in the sense of "Best Of", but unfortunately no Überrachungen, no new interpretation. For some classics are quite carelessly mixed, so that they sound much more sluggish on my Dynaudio as the originals.

Only when "Stars, Strays And Ashtrays" comes a small A-ha effect. And "Knockin 'On Heaven's Door" there is little feeling; but only slightly. Even the title is mixed together quite unkind.

Well, if not for the 14 would Minutes "I Shot The Sheriff" or a classic-hard "Layla" version, this would have been a bad buy for me.

Albums such as "24 Nights" are created as much loving.
