They're back! Keane delivers with "Strange Land" his fourth album and the on a grand scale! After the rather brisk previous albums, Keane find back to their quieter roots which greatly by Tim Rice-Oxley's Electronic Piano and gentler "ballad" tinged songs are marked. Of course, but also one or the other piece in the repertoire find faster! Musically not very many new things but Keane are characterized by mainly her vocal and playful development with profound lyrics, really go "under the skin". Keane reinvent itself while not itself new, but it's still always fascinating, how they manage the listener with new sounds (typically Keane-style) in dreamy Seduce soundscapes. For Limited Deluxe Edition I can only say: TOP! It is equipped with an elaborate, high-quality, large, full-color A4 book with a Short novel by William Boyd, who is very similar to the title of the album and therefore the Album explains itself. Furthermore, a bonus DVD on board with acoustic bonus tracks, and is a "Making Of", which insights into the making of the album are! All in all a very atmospheric, soulful album in wonderful presentation! Fans grab here anyway and who do not yet know Keane gets here a very nice impression of a great band!
