I bought the hard drive as a backup hard drive and it is needed only for backups.
With its 5400rpm it is not too fast and if you want high performance, which I would recommend to buy a hard drive at a higher speed.

The transfer rates move usually in the range of 50 - 75MB / s.

The volume of the some users report, I can not confirm, it is quiet and I do not hear the operation and had a relatively quiet system with a GTX760, which also runs almost inaudibly.
Only the CPU cooler is heard when the computer is running.

The hard drive is nice and compact, was easy to install (probably fits almost anywhere in) and is maintained long I hope.
One of the reasons for this drive was the longer average life So wait compared with Seagate or WD, times.

So far, highly recommended!
