I know that true BAP fans will certainly not agree with me that this is one of the best BAP albums, because it is the least BAP typical. And that's exactly why I like it particularly. Unfortunately, I find the BAP albums too overproduced for many years. The sound is polished on the other albums 100%, the background song sounds forever indefinable-equal, and the whole gives a mushy, which sounds somehow sterile. Maybe it's the typical German tendency to perfectionism, which means that I find most BAP albums mediocre. There's "talkies" refreshingly different. "Economical produced", as another Renzensent said, that is precisely the strength of this album. You can hear a real band playing real instruments properly and sing along, with no frills, effects and finishing touches. The result is a retrospective of some of the highlights of the BAP repertoire that gives an idea of how genuine and down to earth BAP also could have listen. Too bad it was not always so.
