Finally available in the best possible quality. I have long been waiting for a remastered version. Now it is here! And finally, in a presentation that is really just one of the best albums of prog rock history. An elaborately designed booklet completes the overall picture. Was the first album of Klaatu already worth listening - albeit still far from this album - so they have created with HOPE an absolute highlight of the Prog with eternal value. A concept album that combines perfectly classical, rock and musical telling a fascinating story. The album tells the story of the rise and fall of the fictional nation Politzania restrictive. You lose yourself in the musical excursions, is taken from the suffering of the "loneliest of all beings," listening to the lament of the lighthouse keeper - the last survivor of his world - and feels almost tempted to get up taken in the hymn, to lay hands on the chest and loudly singing along. But my personal favorite remains AROUND THE UNIVERSE IN 80 DAYS. Goosebumps! By something almost kitschy saccharine theme song HOPE the CD sounds and you can not just help but the album sounds the same all over again. Too bad that Klaatu are then slipped to this eternal beacon of bombast / art rock in the lowlands of the mainstream. What followed were the albums that had indeed taken by itself quite a bit - especially the last one, at that time appeared only in Canada LP MAGENTA LANE - but the drop height was simply enormous. HOPE was therefore unique. Absolute buy recommendation!
