For instrument itself:
The processing is completely clean. All edges are nicely rounded, nowhere can be seen from the residual adhesive. The color is uniform without noses and beautiful. Nor does it stinks, it smells discreetly by wood. The timber had no cracks. This affects quality. The marks for the 5th, 7th and 10th fret are working as beautiful inlaid mother of pearl and not just painted only to the neck. (Also I've seen at other ukuleles)
The mechanism turns cleanly and evenly without creaking or grinding. It is also fine enough translated that you can sing the notes well. Open mechanism means that the mechanics behind looks so similar, as is known from classical guitars ago. One sees the gear and there is no cover over it.
As the tuning stability is, I can not judge because I have the instrument alluded only briefly. With new strings it's normal that they are constantly out of tune. The strings look like Aquila Nylgut, but a note was nowhere here. But I believe that this company anyway rearing these strings type in all of your ukulele. The scale length is 35 cm.
The pitch is so high that nothing buzzes or strikes. Maybe a bit high. However, since presumably pages were drawn up with not so high voltage, the instrument can still grab easily. Since the Bridgeinlay probably be removed, the string action could even be adapted to other strings.
The sound: The wood resonates beautifully long after and the tones are also nicely balanced, rather warm from the timbre ago. The volume is quite good for the home, excessive expectations should not generally have at such a small instrument. Where do you want at 52 cm total length also come as much resonance chamber? The ukulele is therefore considerably quieter than a guitar. But these are always Sopranukulelen safe. Anyone who wants to give a concert before a large audience, should look for an electronically reinforceable Konzertukulele.
The bag: it is well cushioned and not only made of thin fabric. So you can actually use it for transportation. I think that's really great for the price. On the bag is above the logo nor a zipper attached, so you can carry a few small parts. Is there for a tuner or a hand or a few picks good place.
The included booklet is the only criticism. Although in the title stands Beginners Guide, but it is merely a folded A4 sheet. One learns there's nothing you could not even Googling quickly. But to use the vocal sounds of the instrument on staves, the Council adopted a tuner and even a few simple chords symbolizing font. Who has no idea of stringed instruments, is thus sincerely come little further. Who has ever played guitar, so can strum at least around a bit. But a real textbook is not. That should be ordered to do so if you need one.
Conclusion: For the price you get a decent entry-level instrument that can allude well. Who but a high-end instrument expects just because a famous Ukulelenspieler recommends this brand to go again in itself. Who really plays as a professional ukulele will not settle for an instrument in this price range, but put a few more bills on the table. For amateur musicians but I have seen quite a bit, which is significantly worse.
