There is no plan or logic in the topics addressed, it's careful observation imposing topics. There are, however recurrences: regular inter-species relationships, food webs are explained in detail. The butterfly effect of our behavior is unveiled causing sometimes painful flashes of consciousness. Reading is easy, it's a very good popular science book that makes you want to respect nature which we are part and take the time to observe it. Through this book I realized proxy one of my deepest aspirations: to sit and contemplate long enough to melt into a place.
