Visually and functionally a beautiful shoe. My kids wear this shoe is now in the third size, the next waiting already. He goes from spring to autumn, in summer when the weather is bad. It is nice and light, snug and comfortable fit and the sole is pleasantly firm but pliable. Two small caveats, younger children do sometimes be a little difficult when tightening, because it can not be opened as far as a shoehorn helps immensely. The closure, which is very handy indeed is, in as long as the weak point, but that the laces are soon quite consumed, that spare laces would not be bad. We just this shoe is really about this 3/4 year supported brisk and it is then not kicked off yet "ausgelatscht" that is functionally basically still totally okay. For me one of the best children's shoes.
