PS3 - Move Sharp Shooter (Accessories)

Customer Review

I use the Sony Sharpshooter gun with Killzone 3 (like most) and am absolutely thrilled. At first it is a bit of getting used to but with a bit of practice is doing very well out of hand and is extremely fun. But should primarily of course the Move Sharpshooter be evaluated with its features and capabilities and not the game Killzone 3)

First things first: what this gun is under scheided from most other on the market, the Move Motion Controller hangs in the Sharpshooter Gun to a USB port and follow all the keys are attached to the weapon DIGITAL place mechanically. This is a huge advantage, because thus all PS3 buttons are available on the weapon and because theoretically every Move Shooter can be made compatible with a software update to the Sharpshooter.
Other creaking function usually mechanically, meaning that inside a mechanism from the trigger to the T trigger the motion controller performs. This works first, less precise and secondly the whole thing only works with games where you shoot the T trigger and where you do not need other buttons. Games like Resident Evil 5 are so unplayable because you shoot with the Move button.

The Move Sharp Shooter Gun has the following functions:
-------------------------------------------------- ----------
- Digital deduction
- Second deduction as a button just below the primary deduction (equivalent to the Move button). Thus, games can be played, in which you shoot with the Move button and allow the not adjust the key assignment.
- Above the trigger side-mounted triangular and square buttons (useful on both sides, thus ambidextrous).
- Three level rate of fire with a lever on the side (also for left and right)
- Lock lever, the secondary deduction (Move button) locks - pretty useless
- Reload button below the "magazine"
- The shoulder strap of the weapon is adjustable in length
- Pump-action running at the front of the gun. This mechanically operated the T trigger the motion controller. Thus, only makes sense to use for games that have Recharge on the T trigger.
- Start and Select buttons on the left and right of the Motion Controller
- The Move Navigation Controller is used in the front of the gun, so of course are all keys on the navigation controller available

Here the advantages and disadvantages:
--------------------------------
++ Digital connection of deduction / buttons on the motion controller - the only sensible solution!
++ Usable by the digital buttons theoretically for each Move compatible shooter
++ It is expected that many coming Shooters will support the Sony Sharpshooter
+ Fits comfortably in your hand, no unpleasant fatigue in the wrists
+ Good workmanship and optics
+ You do not need batteries
- The Navigation Controller sits a bit loose in its housing and therefore minimal wobble back and forth.
- I would have a second analog stick to the desired gun handle for the right hand. Thus one would have been more flexible. But then Sony would have had to make an extra version for left-handed, they probably wanted to avoid.

The use (Killzone 3 Single Player):
-----------------------------------------
I personally feel that the Sharpshooter pretty good in the hand and get this no wrist pain, cramps or other problems. Whereas I with Motion Controller in hand, the total wrist Rigid get after 20 minutes when playing, because you're like a remote control keeps the motion controller forwards and constantly hand forward, "flexing". That's not at all, unplayable for me. By contrast, the Sharpshooter is extremely pleasant. But of course that feels any different, therefore everyone must test how pleasant is the Sharpshooter for him.
Personally, I feel a sitting, slightly bent forward position than optimal. Thereby placed his left elbow on his knee, so that the gun is not too heavy after a while. The Sharpshooter is then about at waist level and you do not aim the whole upper body but does everything with arm / wrist movements.

Playing and objectives with the weapon in Killzone 3 needs a certain acclimatization to loose it right goes out of hand. One needs first exercise and is first occupied with finding the right settings for themselves. Which have actually been found for me personally, after much testing, the default settings as best. Getting used to halt the operating concept of Killzone 3 that you change the direction of view by moving the cursor on the screen. In a certain, adjustable range in the center of the image, you can move the cursor freely without changing the viewing direction. At first I thought it was very chaotic and was rather busy with the controller than with the game. After about 2 hours of play time has become used entirely to the controller and it's really absolutely great by hand. Fast turns, viewing direction changes and aimed shots that everything works totally great and a lot of fun. The better you get used to the control system, the more fun it. I was now absolutely packed it after initial skepticism.

TIP: You have to get used to work a lot with the zoom. Because while ranzoomt that "Dead Zone" is extremely high, which means that the line of sight does not change, even if you are relatively close to the screen with the cursor, and you can really nice aim for and handle all opponents without verreißt the image , Also you should absolutely with the pump-action reload run instead of a tilting movement of the gun, because in the latter method also like verreißt the image.

Conclusion:
-------
Overall, a very good and fun thing and in my opinion the only sensible plastic gun for PS3 because the digital connection without batteries and because it is expected that many coming Shooter will support the Sony Sharpshooter Gun explicitly.
Initially, the new control system is a bit of getting used to but after about 2 hours of practice you get the hang of it and it makes an incredible amount of humor. Especially with Killzone 3 it increased compared to the Move-control gun without attachment again clear the game and reality factor. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Move shooter like SOCOM 4, which will also support the Sharpshooter :)
