Since I had never been obsessed an angle grinder and have also never worked with it, I had to give what to buy so me an overview.
Based on my experience with a battery impact wrench and the official pairings of craftsmen, I ended up, once again, with Makita.
Certainly this is not to buy the most economic option tool, but here we know that it works. So why buy something at the hardware store and then resent?
Unfortunately for me the theme "size" a little problem. Work on the roof can best make a handy angle grinder, but the work on the belt boxes required deep cuts. The same was reported in the KS-stones: The large cutting depth needed that little thing filligraneres.
So came, depending on the application, either a 230 mm or a 125 machine into consideration.
The set of Makita with both devices were priced not really much more expensive than buying two single devices at the hardware store!
A 230 mm angle grinder cost even at the hardware store, and that's not then Makita, 100Euro, a 125cc machine again around 50 euros (not just Makita).
One would therefore save compared to the set of Makita in DIY goods hardly any money! Who peeps on Amazon sees well, that if you need both versions, even with questionable marks is given only a very low savings.
I can only guess from the previous practical experience, never with a variant to try anything. There are reasons why more sizes available!
With a 125cc variant I can not achieve large cutting depths and begin to fumble and mess, with a 230 mm version I can not make things smaller. The machine is simply too heavy and bulky, which is then quickly impractical and dangerous!
JUST WHEN such tools I can only strongly advise against seeing it of dubious origin or quality to buy (security!).
When an electric screwdriver denied times, it's not dangerous generally. But flying one a blade around the ears, it is quickly life threatening! (6.600UPM in the 230s, 11.000UPM at the 125!)
Positives:
- Rock solid performance. It has what in his hand, both devices have been laughing for all cuts on any material
- Good workmanship
- Absolutely attractive price
- A practical case for both units and still have room in the trunk for cutting discs! (You always have everything here, no gathering of tools or accessories)
- Even good with inexpensive 4Euro blades power!
Negatives:
- It is merely included a 125 disc cupping. The 230 model is without purchasing accessories not available, the 125 can only purchase without cupping and not cut
- The machines are in the trunk slightly loose
- The 125 has an incredibly stiff switch. (One star deduction for really crass!) I say a woman gets the not even turned on. That annoys the work, because you have to press for ever and fumble to get ultimately turned with force the machine. This should have been better able to solve! In addition, the security approach does not open up to me. To switch to press it and make ... is to them, they will remain until they are off! Messed up, is better resolved in the 230s MUCH. (Here the machine turns off when the knob lets go, to turn If you have to press a second lock button. Simply makes sense.)
- A case for two machines of course also has the disadvantage of always having to lug everything. He's big and heavy! But this is both positive, also to be assessed as negative. A death you die just always;)
The bottom line is I have to say that it was not a bad buy and I am absolutely satisfied.
The 125cc annoys me because of the raised switch themes in everyday life a little, but every day and not one uses it indeed a layman.
In the area of power beyond reproach (both units).
Even when the switch the 125 is really annoying, I can still issue a full purchase recommendation. This is professional material and works!
The neighbor has it already borrowed. Its construction market variant has failed on a steel reinforcement ... the Makita has the thing in 20 seconds for breakfast eaten -D (mind you with the same grinder !!!)
The now ordered the blue Makita House Bauernglück Amazon because he is fed up of low-cost tool.
(We sometimes compared the cordless screwdriver .... NO Vergelich. I had had sunk just 4 every 10 7.5cm screws in the bar when he with his Baumarkt-Mopped (18V UltraPower whatever). WORLDS)
