Nine new superb, actually not necessarily easy to understand, one has the impression of a mysterious gap between what we read and what the author wants to tell us ...
We came across a little lost people, traumatized (by war, anti-Semitism, ...), people who question and challenge us.
To date, I am not even sure of having all these stories included, curiously, it's part of reading pleasure: the author takes us (somewhat) by hand and then let us make do for themselves quickly enough to complete understanding approach.
Do not read if you prefer books where one can understand everything the first time ...
NB: Other books by Salinger (except "The Catcher Hearts") are illegible, or it must really, really cling!
