The main positive characteristics of the FZ150 are already known. I noticed in: The lens is at its best. Despite the large zoom range, there is no troublesome edge blur and no sharpness burglary at the telephoto end. Ideal for example for animal photographers! The high image quality turns out, as with all cameras with a small sensor, particularly with ISO100. Since very good pictures succeed in low light when shooting from a tripod. 34x40cm Posters are sharp and noise-free. That's why I do not ISOauto but ISO100 fixed. Only very rarely I go out ISO400, never even higher. (All Compaktcameras.) Small improvements I wish but also: In the long telephoto AF should be faster. In video mode is missing an even slower zoom drive. It would be nice also if instead of small digital viewfinder, the G3-seekers would built in the FZ150. That would be an extra charge worth it. (Now, after six weeks, I have but little accustomed to the small viewfinder) Nevertheless, the camera is really good, I would buy it again. Addendum Jan.2012 For Polarizer users: the FZ150 has a 52mm filter thread. That's not much at Superzoomern. For video friends: Full HD videos come actually much sharper than the (also adjustable) AVCHD Lite video. Only for direct playback via Camera and HDMI cable to the HD TV, I can enjoy the video clips sharp and smooth. Created by software Movies stutter unfortunately. Luckily, you can share and cut the clips in the Camera. I will now always use and do without the tedious computer processing.
