I want to try as objectively as possible to reproduce my experience with this game, since I do not think it is fair to other buyers to give this game a perfect score here. Some reviews seem to me as if the author had the game only angetestet briefly, then immediately to express their opinion here.
I have the game now also played the single player since the release-day and 60 hours per multiplayer (I Break :)).
So this is not a contribution, through the technical problems frustrated. In this I would like not so much enter, but only again briefly enumerate.
This began in the first two weeks with the not to difficult to reach EA servers for the multiplayer login. This has now been resolved and works almost seamlessly.
Meanwhile, I have, and I'm not the only one since the last patch regular game crashes, according to relevant forums.
Paches there were now three, but where so far none of the, in my view, serious design flaws, which I will discuss in a has been fixed.
Among the technical errors and heard yet that the manufacturer has not yet managed to get the car via Patch team balancing and running. This has far-reaching consequences especially for some game modes (more on that).
But now first to design errors.
This start menu. Here I find worthy of criticism that only a small part of the possible graphics settings is ever to govern from the menu. The most you have to adjust in a config file by hand. This also applies to the mouse speed controllers for vehicles and stationary weapons. These speed settings you have to change necessarily have the config because the mouse is so slow otherwise that one in vehicles has no chance to react to any events outside the current field of view.
As a final and actually serious error of the menu is still the Server Browser call. This heard, completely redesigned in my eyes and is not worthy of a multiplayer game in Final status (for an open beta). There are initially no Pingfilter or filter for Continents. This means that every time you check the server list virtually all servers in the world are called up, which of course takes a correspondingly long time. This has since been patched so far as that now only the first 100 server with the lowest latencies displayed gets (latency you get with Vista and 7 only appear when the game starts in Admin mode). At the beginning but this meant that we spent more time than in the server browser in the game.
Furthermore, there is no filter for Server Settings. It can not simply be server eg in Hardcore Mode filter out. A fortiori, there is no filter for other settings, such as Kill-Cam on / off, Crosshair on / off, Friendly Fire on / off, etc. This is necessary to each to try and be so cumbersome to assemble a list of favorites. What, however, does not simply fall because, once on the server, the name of the current server can no longer be displayed and the history list only works randomly.
If you are then once in the game, further problems in the design are visible. First of all there would be the scoreboard (since the last patch last without representation error), this can live while the Show is by TAB. If you, however, died and actually even have time to have a look at the scoreboard, this is no longer. Then you have to switch on ESC and a submenu for scoreboard.
But what weighs heavier is the quasi not stop using in-game chat. Although there are three buttons for All, Team and Squad, but these are only to use when you're alive. A consultation is with the team or squad is actually not possible. To do this in the game do not have time. If you are then once dead and had agreements for short time, chat (by the way, has no history) is neither functional nor visible. So it's actually not even possible to apologize in another for a team kill, as this that yes can not read.
This provides not only all the points and ranks-Gesammel that on most servers everyone plays for themselves.
What now for the next step leads me, the Rushmode. In this game mode there is a team with attackers and one with defenders. The attacker must always blow up two crates to gain land and thus gain access to the next two boxes. The other team, they have to stop them and the attackers push back until a certain number of tickets has expired. Actually quite a good game idea. Together with the inability to hold consultations, the non-functioning team balancing and around the hunt on the points, however, this means that I no longer really play this game mode.
The defender lost virtually always. Then, after the defenders were shot and the map starts again with reversed roles, change all the attacking team (as is the gain yes expected). This leads then through the missing team Balancing regularly to play with for example 12 to 4. Since then certainly have no chance the defenders, the last to leave the server also, there are only attacker and the game is dead. In my experience, another sequence of these games is extremely rare.
Last but not least I would like to comment briefly on the balancing. Here, however, so much on the weapon balancing, because this can not be so resolved fairly simply by patch, is far-reaching consensus among the players especially for some weapons in the forums.
What I do not understand is that the vehicles (helicopter gunships and tanks) the Russian side have a terrible red veil in optics, which does not have the appropriate vehicles to the US side. This is just on maps with many vehicles (eg Atacama Desert) a huge disadvantage. The sight of Russian vehicles is about half of the US Army.

In summary, I think it's just a shame that one has yet to set the really good gameplay with a really acceptable graphics and sound really good in the sand. One can only hope that by some patch is changed yet, although I do not really believe it in the fullness of criticisms from the community that a purchase price of 40 is at some point justified. I would not really recommend the present time to buy this game. If you find a server with good settings and reasonably balanced teams, the game is incredibly fun though, but I'd wait to see if the manufacturer get the problems and mistakes of this software under control and possibly then buy. At the moment there is the game, in my eyes, even deep in the beta stage and especially strongly the surface requires a complete overhaul.

I hope my post is helpful for you, even if I have concentrated here only on the points worthy of criticism. The advantages enumerative reviews and contributions in newspapers there are already enough to where this game then go through with such as 9 out of 10 points or is evaluated, without addressing the problems. I think, if just newspapers and large gaming sites do not include such obvious problems in their reviews with, one must not be surprised if you get offered in the future unfinished software at full price.
