Half fun at full price

As a fan of "Secret Files: Tunguska" of course I had the continuation of "Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis" play. While the second part is based on the first, but has an independent story with other themes. It can also easily play when you should not know the first part.
It might have been a mistake on my part, to play the PC version first. Therefore my judgment can not be as positive as I would have approached unloaded to the Game for NDS version.
The recommendation of the ESRB, to release the game from the age of 6, I can not agree. Many of the puzzles are quite challenging and would probably make in children rather frustration instead of joy. There is also due to the lack of voice very much to read what determined quickly for boredom makes in children before the screen. Although the title is not violence or bloodthirsty, there are no animals tortured in the first part, but the sometimes raunchy humor of the main actors is understood certainly rather more mature players.
I particularly appreciated the flat humor of Nina and Max on the first part of Secret Files. In the new part of the continued and brilliantly complemented by Sam Peters. We owe the creators of the game high praise. However, the joy in these dialogues and monologues full of allusions is tarnished on celebrities from the film and video game industry through the nonexistent voice output on the module. The excellent voice actors in the PC version of the plot only really give life and make the gaming experience a memorable one. Too bad that you did not make it when developers Keen Games to implement this feature. Here are the only exception 25 beautifully made video sequences, with which the action is being driven.
The graphics have to make the most compromising, which is not least due to the weak resolution of NDS screens. For example, since the captain in the restaurant the first level matchstick arms, although he otherwise acts like a real sea dog. Or legs of woman Jordan in the infirmary of the ship look like plaster. Nina looks viewed from a distance, as if she were constantly walking around with a pair of sunglasses. From her curvaceous body a muddy pile of pixels on the touchscreen only remains. Her face is similar to a shrew or wasp - no comparison to the successful artwork on the packaging. Every now and then it comes down to the top of the screen also to short glitches. I'm sorry, but a successful graphic looks to me different.
Mir, the question arises why the programmers have not adopted the zoom function from the PC original? As was zoomed during the dialogues closer to the people. This option would be but also the NDS and indeed throughout the game. It then may not have any time a full overview of the complete Handlungsort. But it would not thereby be trouble if several magnifying glass icons are arranged in a confined space side by side on the screen. Without these zoom function probably would be the entire game on the NDS unplayable. Does not recognize many items you know and only after clicking on the magnifying glass, what it is doing. However, it may already be annoying if you do not know to what object the symbol actually belongs and is repeated clicks on the wrong motion.
At the end of the game I have unfortunately found a bug. So you should save your game before entering the tower to the showdown. If you press on the control panel there the purple button on the alarm of the main gate, and then changes the access code freeze both NDS screens, and the console does not respond to operations more, neither buttons nor input with the stylus. It remains only a reset by turning the power off.
According to the statistics, which appears at the end of the game, it took me 850 minutes to master the adventure. It is thus ensured plenty of fun as long as you can live with the mentioned weaknesses.
As a conclusion, unfortunately, I can only a recommendation of the NDS game for those who are at war with the PC, do not have the game or necessarily want to gamble on the go. For the full price you should buy only the PC original. That's every euro it costs the value. I got the NDS version of purchases in other European countries and paid less than 15 euros. Mir is the pricing policy of the publisher probably forever remain a mystery to the German market.
