I purchased the lens in conjunction with the GF3 for me and my daughter. We have the Panasonic Lumix GX Vario PZ 14-42mm Power Zoom lens with motorized zoom black and the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED Lens (12-50mm 1: 3.5-6.3 EZ) Analog tested black. The performance is excellent for this price. Images are always sharp and responsive. Focusierung is fast and accurate. Significantly better than the PZ 14-42mm. In the PZ and the Olympus, the light intensity falls at higher focal length very quickly - here the default zoom is much more balanced. Much better than its reputation and for the price a bargain. Clear recommendation.
