My resumé:
- Works flawlessly without crashes (do not get confused by the older reviews below, Microsoft = Updates!)
- Installation is a bit annoying, because you equal time with 2 updates may download> 200MB in Sume, before working - but okay, that is, after a complicated piece of software.
- Work can be even better than on the PC to the Mac version. Especially great is the sidebar with all of its functions.
- The old PC files could be always properly open, edit and save. Full compatibility. (Graphics, complex formatting, and (very good) drawings are 100 pages thesis with plenty been made in the Word itself) always faultlessly even in extreme test.
Therefore thick buy recommendation, if, like me coming from the PC and continue to use the old files would (also "complicated"). If you start on the Mac at 0 is certainly iWork Apple also worth a trial.
PS - Both products (MS Office 2008: Mac and Apple iWork) can be tested every 30 days with full function. Be sure to try. But before buying the right software at Office: Read this manual and follow the uninstall mac exactly - otherwise it's not (as in my case, read forms).
