- By the title "My words are easy to understand" suggests that the Daodejing of Laozi will finally be clarified. Now it is not so and this book still adds to the confusion.
- For the subtitle "The Tao Te Ching commented by Master Cheng Man Ching". Actually comment, we most often paraphrase: I change the word order to repeat more or less the same. In general, only a few lines for a whole paragraph ... For real comments, see rather the site [...]
- By presenting the last editor "This book is an event in the world of the French edition [...] that will surprise many readers." By itself, any book is an event but master Cheng should not leave much trace in the history of Laozi comment. What may work side USA - which after all the nonsense incense Stephen Mitchell - can only leave the Western puzzled, accustomed to more relevant (see Marcel Conche Catherine Despeux or Henning Strom for real comments!)
Finally, a book without much interest, (badly) translated from Chinese and English for a more approximate result ...
Sincerely,
