Birdy, the words of a fan.

I really despaired me to see music today finding new beads. My musical universe far remained concentrated in the major French writers of the last century, Renaud, Cabrel, Goldman, Berger, Brel, Gainsbourg and others. A bit of hard rock and some idols of the metal scene, but never the slightest affection, seeing a total aversion to the current soup, peoples.

I have heard of Birdy during the promotion of his single "Wings", via a social network I learned that a young artist will give an interview to France accompanied by his keyboard, humbly and simply as few artists still do today. After listening to his second album, what can we say? It's great, it's music as we like, the one we need to generation. Anyway that's how I see it. The songs on one album were all written and composed by Birdy and his cronies, all the pieces are beautifully enchainent many quiet songs orchestrated but more than in the first. Only the title "Light Me Up" stands out with a more electric and super rhythmic, "Maybe" is good too, with its acoustic sound and energetic. For me these are the songs "Strange Birds" and "Wings" I love the most, but the album as a whole is a true wonder.

Birdy is the only rising artist of the moment I'm also a fan yet. I'm really falling in love with his music and the artist appears to have still so much to say and prove musically. I hope to see it continue to evolve long into the years ahead, explore other styles yet, surely, certainly surprised me and rock me with his voice and his notes of her own. Although already famous, I found slightly underestimated in music news, or at least not enough in light compare to other starlets without any originality.
