the author concludes his preface he wrote: "In his greedy of Grimaud Almanac of Renière warned the ambitious who would write the history of French cuisine in all its parts (...) It allows me. Apart from respecting the chronology this book is a list of old books whose content is only barely sketched; more attention is paid to tableware and cooking food and room that the author confuses cour.La gastronomy and regional cooking kitchen is scorned. After finishing this book we know almost nothing more that initially the kitchen and the French gastronomy, subjects of the book!
