The two previous albums I therefore was so refreshing, because they have precisely not sounded after the usual Blue Rock brand Bonamassa and Co.. There was Soul, R & B, Funk also something because you could hear trumpets, trombones, violins, a piano. It was Blues - undoubtedly - but vorgertragen a very independent and modern touch. Unfortunately, Smith has not pursued this direction and Over Your Head now sounds just like the plates of which I have already several hundred are on the shelf. It may be that it is hoped to attract more buyers with classic blues rock, the current wave travels perhaps for some time. On the other hand, the market is, in my already overflowing with talent.
