While some neo-feminist assertions are clearly chilling, the author avoids the pitfall of blanket condemnation and lies by omission by very broad bibliographical references and replacing this drift in the broader context of modernity (see first chapter) and our relationship to the individual and to the "other". As for the few short texts that conclude the book, including dealing with biology, patriarchy and the sexual relationship in Christianity, they guide thinking on other very interesting questions.
So I highly recommend this book, which moreover is a clear and limpid writing.
