Born To Die In Loudness War

Born To Die - The Paradise Edition (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Even "Born to die - The Paradise Edition" would have potential for more, Lana del Rey is not only a talented artist, but equally a formidable singer and composer.

This disc will be disqualified by the miserable music production from the house of "market leader" Universal Music - it forms one of the worst music productions I've ever gotten to ears (massive oversteer and lack of dynamism). You have to be assessed neither audiophile, even high-end devices to call his own, in order to perceive all the discrepancies. Such pitiful "quality" per se exceed the limits of what is reasonable and I am surprised again and again that the customer - with all due respect - such waste at all tolerate / accept, celebrate and pay for it even still. One should bear in mind that Lana del Rey's debut album "Born to die" just as bad and produced at that time was exposed to the same criticism.

It really remains to be hoped that this ominous "Loudness War" will soon come to an end, because in fine arts art he has nothing more in common!
