Space Channel 5 Part 2
The game itself is, of course, continues to be beyond all doubt, still one of the funniest and most inventive rhythm games ever. If you like Austin Powers, is also love the crazy world of Ulala. First the good points of conversion. Progressive was the Dreamcast version already on the Xbox360 is now also a successful widescreen mode. The menu has been reworked and in the pauses there is now little gameplay tips. Unfortunately, there are some downside. The video sequences are unaltered 4: 3 and still to convert pretty bad. Does not look nice. As a fan I would have liked also to be able to enjoy the game even in Japanese with subtitles. The English dub and the translated songs are for the time okay, but on a collector Collection you expect that little bit extra. However, the killer comes yet - the game is to control something hakelig with the strange D-Pad the XBox controller, just the instrument Battles often go wrong because you just can not precise enough to press "Down". The keys are configurable though, everything should be placed on a button for me but already cheating.
Crazy Taxi
Still a timeless classic. Again, progressive and Widescreen. What is missing is the original soundtrack from The Offspring and a lot of product placement ("Take me to the original Lewis store"). Now you have to admit that the original core in the long run could get on your nerves - because he felt consisted of two pieces - still the retro feel is slightly clouded. Here, the controller works quite well, even if the "switching" between forward and reverse gears GTA veterans will seem a little awkward.
Sonic Adventure
Uh - the game has become quite old. Very early DC titles and so it looks. Here there is no widescreen adjustment, the image is fixed 4: 3. For a few hours Nostalgic Fun certainly very nice, the successor to Sonic Adventure 2 but plays better by far.
Overall, one can define the Collection, as long as one does not expect elaborate revision.
