The Black Flag feeling comes over very quickly because it comes back pretty quickly on a ship and is thrown in the first naval combat. The gameplay in the sea battle remains to Black Flag. The "Land Part Part" is, however, much broader than in Black Flag. Alone to unlock all neighborhoods in New York go locker eight hours on it (with all Sammelgeständen). And in the River Valley area, there are some huge island that you can explore. The last area is off the east coast of Canada.
The story unfolds far (am beginning 4 sequence) very well. The reasons why the Shay is the Templar in my opinion are always traceable.
The control in the fight is ACIII and Black Flag to felt. New is the AIRGUN replaces the blowpipe from Black Flag and can fire Bersekermunition, sleep arrow and firecrackers. The Sammelgeständen the Prosperty gems that has been added in addition to the known objects from ACBF yet. They give bonus to the money income of the buildings that you own or have rebuilt "in the service of New York".
For graphics I need I think to say anything that is reasonable AC3.
CONCLUSION: All the Black Flag should have loved for the pirates Part ACCESS. Although it is a bit unusual when a German generals shake hands for the good work ;-) I'm more not used ....
In addition, I put each the AC Rogue Sea Shanty Edition close. It was added in addition to the known shanties from Black Flag 24 new are really great.

Because of the many opinions for season one example from me:
Games are 30 hours, am completely at 65% and opening sequence 5. If in 6 hours, the main story is played out, one should not complain. This is as if you look at 5 minutes from a 2 hour movie and then says, "The movie was bad." You do not use 70% of Spielmeachnismen and encourages you to. I do not understand anyway. So for platinum (but much time will be hardly anyone else) should be included 80+ hours.
