So far I assumed that Brita manufactures products which at least have a certain utility in the background. Even my Brita was recommended by all. I bought the Brita Marella XL White Water Filter, because we relate water from the water supply, which has a dH of about 25. Per day we need about two to five water fillings. Lt. Manufacturer specifications and lt. Consumption Display of the filter, the filter should be changed every four weeks. After inserting the inexpert filter the dH of water is about 2 to 4. That's fine. After one week, however, the dH of the water is already 16 and after two weeks of 25 dH, that is without any effect. Thus the consumer is actually fooled that it refers soft water, but in reality he gets after only two weeks, the ordinary hard water. Then, when someone waives the descaling of equipment, he has eventually a real problem. The hotline of Brita can forget. I had asked three questions and got each time the automated response that Brita is to contact me within three days in connection. In fact, however, I received an answer to my questions at any time. I am again begun to use the water tap water unfiltered and for making the Geräteentkalkungen periodically. Richard Biegel
