I tried the Scooba because I'm glad of roomba. I receive it, read the instructions and implements it. Firstly the Scooba 230 does start, it rattled and stops. I phone service after France and explanations the person told me that we will contact me by the soir.Effectivement I received an email in English at night asking me to contact a number outside France, unreachable! So SAV = 0 for me. The next day I tried again scooba. Rage I open a compartment, water flowing and then, surprise scooba hiccups and starts: apparently it was enough to prime the pump! I would have liked to know by the VAS. Then I tested the unit with the solution as advocated irobot: water returns dirty, but traces remain too many. Ditto on several days. A microfiber mop without laundry done better.
EDIT: After a few months of use, I found out how best to use it. To avoid marks on tile, I alternate once in 2 or 3 roomba the soap and warm water aditionnée a little household vinegar. Whenever I rinse the entire brush removing the base, that's easy. More trace result. By limiting rest against autonomy: a room or two smaller every 8 hours ...
