Unfortunately, these rotating tripod head (eg. For Timelapse- shots) is actually only Ultrakompakt-
cameras used, according to the notice on the packaging. In my GH2 with compact lens finished "egg timer" after a few seconds by the weight loading the rotation.
The Timelapse- specialist G. Wegner recommends on its website in the photo and whistles a conventional hourglass, also available at Amazon "Magnetic Stainless Eieruhr- timer to 60 minutes."
This works flawlessly, even with DSLR`S.
