Limitations tripod

I unpacked and thought Camera DMC-GF3CEG-K: beautifully compact, but heavier than it looks! On the scale itself has confirmed: Body 269g with battery and chip. Added to this are 57g for the lens H-H014 or 208g for the H-FS014042 (DMC GF3KEG)!
The lens was mounted directly on the camera, so no additional covers (f. Body & lens) supplied. Unfortunately, only (as unfortunately become common in Panasonic) included a quick start guide that indeed explains the menu structure, but does not include any information about the performance itself. Here, unfortunately, have to be resorted to alternative literature again.
As usual lately, and this time have fallen back some functions to suffer cuts. Most striking is that in comparison to Vorgaengermodell no more hot shoe is present. Stereo there are no longer also. The position of the Verstllraedchens is now around the teeter-totter and simplifies operation in conjunction with the touchscreen immensely. Users of other G-models can be found here handle quickly.
The quality of photos is fine with me.

In principle, all MFT lenses are connected by Panasonic, but the building on a tripod is only possible with the abovementioned standard objectives and the other fixed focal lengths and the 3D lens. These lightweight lenses in principle can also be used with a Billigststativ.
The heavy lenses such as the H-VS014140 (14-140mm) and the H-FS100300 (100-300mm) can in principle be used only with a more stable tripod because of the heaviness. This can, however, due to the large lens diameter not mount.
Neither the flexible Gorillapod SLR-Zoom with ball head, yet compact tripods such as the Hama profile 71 can be used to! Here probably has saved too much on Gehaeusevolumen Panasonic.
For me, the limited use of the camera on the replacement for the compact clippers, because there is no external flash is mounted, and apart from the fixed focal lengths freehand must be photographed.
One more question at the end: Why did Panasonic again a new type of battery (DMW-BLE9E) invent? Is there in the now unmanageable tangle a battery that would have fit in there?

Conclusion: More compact than the other G models but clearly limited usability, 4 stars

Addendum after 4 months of use:
Property me now hinzugekauft with power zoom the H-PS14042 Ojektiv. With this compact 3x zoom camera is really pocket everyday and fit. This combination has been proven in the meantime more than 3,000 images in the jungle and mountains well. The increase in energy consumption for the zoom lens is negligible weight.
The operation means rearward rotating wheel designed to be easy to learn. I particularly appreciate the short startup time of the camera.
Meanwhile, this combination has replaced my compact clippers for snapshots thanks to significantly better image quality and I do not want to miss.
