Can anything - but nothing really!

I opted for this phone because I wanted to have a device that offers not only the usual features like camera and MP3 player, but also GPS navigation and to a limited extent also Internet services. That these selection criteria will mean that I probably future must cope with a touch screen, I have accepted.
But now with this device:

The camera is rubbish. The images are totally pixelated and noisy even at dim lighting conditions and it is not even an LED auxiliary lighting let alone a flash available. The shutter button on the touch screen is in my opinion not entirely happy.

I can say that I've given up the attempts to set up one of my e-mail account on the device via the Internet capabilities. The browser had at larger sites from the beginning difficulties, now I can no longer use it, because the phone's internal memory zumüllt itself and when you start the browser is only an error message. The browser can remember passwords, which for example leads at AutoScout24, that one can no longer log on because the Auto Log-in leads to a scripting error. Individual app's such as Facebook but still work.

The GPS module works well and fast and the maps app you can quickly orientate around, get weather information, browse POI's and more. The guidance I have not in use, so do not know about the route selection, intelligent detours or voice output.

Properly shameful are the skills in the core competencies of a phone. Missed calls (when not connected and empfangsbereitem mobile) are partly shown with me until many hours later by the device alerts the mailbox on calls to non-availability as well. I also suspect that the vibrating alert does not work reliably, so I miss a corresponding number of calls, because that's the only call-processing component that I am using.

Voice quality is good, but the speaker requires exact positioning in front of the ear. The reception performance seems to be significantly lower for the same power compared with my old Sony. The battery runtime is not outstanding, but is okay. The display of the charge state can be easily upset by incomplete interim store and then feigns a full battery, which then abruptly in "Battery Low" turns.

The connection of the PC application Ovi Suite to the address of Firefox has not work for me, according to the PC could not be used for the transfer from the old phone. Mass sending of contacts via BT was indeed annoying but less expensive type, but new.

If the internal memory of the C5-03 is full, which happens quite easily and frequently, you can no longer receive SMS and create new contacts or supplement existing contacts. Real angry.

In summary, I can say that this phone was a 100% bad buy. Unreliable and not suitable for everyday use. A would-be smartphone with an incredible amount of almost functions.
