It crashes and rocking in the second half of the 70 min. Album really. The combination of instrumental and electro sound Silvestri has well solved.
The music for "GI Joe" has not a main theme that recurs, but has well over melodies and motifs.
I like best as Silvestri here with the orchestra and each instrument bypasses.
And another warning regarding the sound quality on the Filmmusik2000 page:
"Danger:
The soundtrack by Alan Silvestri made shortly after the release headlines of a different kind: In various Internet forums has been rumored, the CD master had been taken from a lossy source. In fact, you can hear quiet noises that of a when listening very carefully at individual pieces of music in the background - could have come compression - certainly considerable. Whether there will be a new mastering and thus a corrected version is not yet known. "
1 star deduction for the sound problem that was not fixed yet adopted by Varese Sarabande. The composition itself would earn 4 stars.
