I find among the whole pop star Madonna is the only star - only they dare to serve up some boundaries of what is possible and exceed this. What was torn album in the media. And they care about that? Nuts. She makes music because she likes and she wants to produce music for themselves and their fans. And if something can MDNA, then it is to motivate and one to push. Every song gives you a little more energy, until finally overcomes its limitations and is free - and it has also done with the album itself.
The pressure was high, the predecessor CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR (2005) and Hard Candy (2008) have raised the bar very far up and brought numerous hits on the day.
The big drum was previously stirred vigorously. Hardly someone who is interested in pop music of the 21st century, it should be noticed that Madonna released a new work, so present the singer was on TV, on stage and in magazines around the globe.
MDNA is bursting with intensity, extravagance and theatricality. It's loud and pulsating as excessive, dance the night away in a booming underground club. The conclusion follows at the end.
01.GIRL GONE WILD: The entry begins quietly and with chanting of Madonna, turns after some time but in a disco hits of has it all! The chorus then pulls one into its spell. Certainly nothing profound, just turn up and have fun! 4/5 points
02. Gang Bang: Do not worry! This song is not about a perverse porn song, but a gloomy atmosphere song. What strikes me here mainly by Michael Jackson's "Thriller" known stylistic device, the insertion of "real" sounds like a pistol shot, giving the song, along with the constant background sound a very unique, gloomy atmosphere. Although it takes a while to turn up correctly, this song is pretty good ... that's what Madonna sings not to mention unlike controversial, but it fits perfectly with what we've heard from her. The end then kicks again a different musical direction, is chaotic and is yet again about in the chorus. 4/5 points
03. I'M ADDICTED: is similarly thrilling, but as GANGBANG goes more in the direction of dance pop. Nothing extraordinary, after repeated listening but quite catchy and captivating. 3.5 / 5 points
04. TURN UP THE RADIO: The third single release. I like this song, it sounds like Party & fun and fits therefore perfectly MDNA. Nothing groundbreaking nevertheless catchy guaranteed! 4/5 points
05. Give me all your lovin ': The first second single. Was it a bad choice? I dont know. A big hit, it was not, but no flop. I personally like GIVE ME ALL YOUR LOVIN 'very and have heard him before the release of the album often like. Especially the chorus and the Rapteil I like. Certainly not for everyone, Madonna's voice is also very weak, yet a party song of the good variety. 4.5 / 5 points
06. Some Girls: considered by many as one of the worst songs of the album. No big hit, still fascinates me the song and makes, at least for me, a lot of fun. 3.5 / 5 points
07 SUPERSTAR: Again a dance song and reminds me a lot to turn up the radio, but is the better of the two songs. The UH-LA-LA part is mesmerizing and the chorus draws a then really in its spell. 4.5 / 5 points
08. I DO NOT GIVE A: With einerb electric guitar, the track is very rocky over, Madonna raps the main part and Nicki Minaj is on board. For me, one of the best songs of the album, but not for everyone. 4.5 / 5 points
09. I'M A SINENR: reminds me of Beautiful Stranger. Has something of VOGUE (the list of saints). The song is fun, there is no multi-here to say. Would certainly become a successful single. 4/5 points
10. LOVE SPENT: My favorite song on the album. In addition to a bagpipe sound LOVE SPENT comes also with a pounding bass and a mesmerizing Hook. 5/5 points
11. MASTERPIECE: Finally, again something that stands out from the very album. A ballad of Madonna. Very nice. There is nothing more to say! 4/5 points
12. FALLING FREE: One of the most beautiful ballads Madonna! How do I get her voice, and the maturity of her voice here great expression. 4.5 / 5 points
12 title = 60 points possible 12 title = 50 points = 60 points / 5 Stars by = all 12 points there is another star = 50 points / 12 points = 4,166 = 4 stars
The texts can even say that they are quite well even if not quite as refined as well as compared to the previous albums. She sings about the emancipation and sexual self-determination, love, drugs, etc. Here I would make a little compromise, but all in all they are still good, just not its crowning achievement as a few phrases are often sung, and the text seems repetitive.
These points and a few others make their songs distinctive to something from my perspective. Something that sounds familiar, because it is a single-genre, but also never before was (of course varies from song to song, the, TURN UP THE RADIO sounds really something very well known). Now the only question is whether they can maintain their level compared to the other albums. For me clearly yes, because she combines elements of CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR and HARD CANDY and has nevertheless developed in a different direction. Although the lyrics are somewhat repetitive but the overall package looks significantly rounder than in HARD CANDY.
I would recommend anyone this album at least once heard and when you're getting into it, you will be able to understand the top points I think. For those looking for something suitable for the masses, but nevertheless its charm, has rough edges, MDNA should be just right.
