After endless announcement by 5 to 7 Salvation: For the first time I hear "Yellow". Coldplay have arrived in my life. I knew and know the scene on the island really quite good, but the feeling I had at "Yellow", you really very rare. The perfect song. Tower high above all the other UK acts. Blind I bought the album and was not disappointed minute. My Favourite in 2000. "Yellow" alone still makes no album. But it has to offer not all of these little wonders plate: "Trouble", "High Speed" and my second favorite "Spies". And anything you can hear through with pleasure and joy when - yes, if you have a tendency to calm Songwriterpop with a distinctive lead vocal, very good, often ambiguous lyrics and a penchant for beautiful, careful arrangements. Travis were at that time with "The Man Who" really big at the start - but "Parachutes" pulled over - and made from Coldplay at the time definitely best band of England, which they, with "A Rush of Blood to the Head", the second album could underline impressively.
