I for about 6 months now regularly use the alarm clock in the kitchen.

My Conclusion:
+ Easy to read
+ Nice and loud
+ Easy to use
+ Low Price
+ Remembers last period
+ AAA battery

- Keys start after 6 months to work worse
- Time is not counted for cheep
(You can not see therefore how much time you have covered)

Next time I would buy a better alarm clock.
