The Asus PA279Q is ideal for photo and video editing, I've never such brilliant images in diesr Price Range seen. In terms of connectivity the device is great, the monitor can be adjusted without much effort in height and pivot about 90 degrees.
Where the Asus PA279Q is unfortunately fails in small and normal large black letters on a white background. Here the writing is only gray and thus difficult to read. This is especially bad if you for example often works with Microsoft Excel, as I do. My old Eizo FlexScan S1910 provides fonts much black is. I've tried everything to the Asus PA279X to elicit a clearer font display (contrast up and down, Brightness up and down, called different profiles, customized Windows hinting and on and off ...) but satisfactory results I can not achieve. A great pity, otherwise the device like me well - but I can not work with your monitor.
The problem with repeatedly falling out power plug is hopefully only a special case of our model. But it was extremely annoying, middle of the operation, without any shocks fell several times below the monitor. The monitor has been sent back, now I'm looking for another monitor.
