Since our old wireless router from D-Link only rumzickte (unstable and interference-prone WLAN, disconnections every 30 seconds, pace on ISDN level, ...), I needed a new device. After a long search I came across the TL-WDR4900 of TP-Link and have also ordered him immediately. After two days, the unit arrived and the decor was a no brainer. I have the TL-WDR4900 now excited in operation and am for 1,5 weeks! These are worlds! Finally, I can quickly upload and download, watch HD videos on the Internet of things - to die to put it briefly. In our neighborhood only 2.4 GHz wireless networks are in operation, but even that makes the TL-WDR4900 simply cold. Thanks to the two USB ports you can z. B connect a hard disk and a printer.
Soon I'm going to buy a dual-band WLAN stick, so I can use the full speed potential of the TL-WDR4900. I am currently on the 2.4 GHz band on the road, because my jetz tiger WLAN stick does not support the 5 GHz WLAN.
Who wants to set up a stable and reliable wireless network in the home, is served with the TL-WDR4900 more than good.
