I have the new HTC One (M8) already received at 02:04:14 and of course, once taken in hand and put the processing under the microscope.
If I spend so much money on a smartphone, it must of course be very well made and that's about it. I have removed it from the package and just thought wow. It feels very nice to, sits comfortably in the hand and looks really good (gray variant was here only skeptical, but in real looks the part class).
Also included a charging cable and headset, as usual here, and rather unusual, a protective cover, which fits very well visually for One M8.
After I had unpacked everything, once infected and fully charged.
The decor was simple and quick common until then already comes on the homescreen.
You can tell already the first touch as responsive touch screen is excellent.
The display, which is a 5-inch LCD with full HD resolution, can operate and super responsive fabulous.
Brightness, contrast and viewing angles are really great.
The new One has a Snapdragon 801 on board and tinkers with 2.3GHz and 2GB of RAM. The performance is hammermäßig, smoothly and without stuttering, just great.
The new Android looks visually very good, by the HTC interface Sense 6 still superior to other devices such as Samsung, LG etc. (personal taste).
The Blink Feed (sort of a message service, which claimed the Home on the home screen), I personally find great.
One can choose to be widely reported by news (sports, games, politics, etc.) and then always gets the latest news.
I had already Blink Feed the visually but a bit more elegant and fluid resolved on my HTC One X +, the new one you have.
Since Blink Feed there with me actually no more newspapers. : D
After the camera has harvested more or less criticism, I must say that I do not find this bad. Maybe it's just that you have expected anything but this and then is better than the expectation of the pictures look good. Of course you can not compare it to a SLR, but that one should not also.
The Ultra pixel camera does its job well and dissolves extremely quickly, which I like very well.
There is a small, second camera which is capturing the depth of an image. This way you can for example edit it with the U-focus.
The post-processing by the U-focus, which brings deliberate blur in the picture works best and is really fun course only playing, but there are already really great photos were taken.
I have already looked at some 1080p trailer in mkv. format, which were reproduced smoothly and fluently.
What really excites me is the connectivity, whether normal Internet, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
If one is, for example, wireless switches connected immediately and does not need only a few seconds.
The voice quality for calls is neat, my partner understand me well and I.
The Internet, whether LTE or 3G works quickly and reliably.
Now to the sound, which is indeed one of the major unique selling features of this device.
The boom sound is just awesome. Two speakers on the front give the sound incredibly loud and incredibly clear it back makes listening to music fun.
The sound through the supplied headphones is also really good. Personally, I always hear about my Bluetooth headset because I always disturb the cable and the connection is working properly, the sound is due to the boom sound simply unbeatable.
The battery was fully charged at 02:04:14 by about 19:00 clock and is now at 17% (4:04:14 - 10:00 clock). And with constant use, as with a new device is just so. Written much (WhatsApp), downloaded and set up some apps, watched and recorded, listened to music, much photographed by the camera and reworked as well, you may not believe it, a bit on the phone. Conclusion: The new HTC One M8 is a great smartphone, which is currently the best on the market most likely. The Snapdragon 801 makes powerful steam and runs the Smartphone smoothly and without stuttering. I am very excited and confident, but you have to remember that every taste is different and everyone has their own priority points sets.
Here again a short summary of what is positive for me:
Positive +:
- Very high-quality housing
- Excellent Full HD LCD
- Runs very smoothly and quickly
- Sense UI 6
- Blink Feed
- Battery Life
- Class sound (very good, very loud, but still clear)
I want nothing to judge negative since nothing disturbs me serious.
Some will say: permanently installed battery, little internal memory, etc., but I personally do not mind. :)

After my battery went empty for almost exactly 43 hours (the last 10% I have run a full HD video on YouTube), this was fully recharged in less than 2 hours.

Again, the battery, which thrilled me. Has now in normal use narrowly fabulous three days passed.
And yet for processing: The power button is shaking me a bit, just the volume rockers. I think that's not bad, because it is so in some smartphones and as long as everything works and does not fall off, everything is OK. Just can not tell if the wanted is a little looser or whether that's a small processing error.
