Between car chases, shootings, fights, torture scenes, all eroticism sprinkled with atypical romance between the hero and the "whore of his life" that softens the whole, the author has collected all the ingredients of the thriller. This impression is supported by the dark colors used by the designer, Dan Panosian.
Stephen Desberg presents fairly characteristic characters (if not archetypal) of the black series. When John Tiffany learns that his head is a price in a restaurant, flashbacks reveal the links between the characters, their stories and their motivations.
This story is more aimed at a male audience that women in my opinion but it is fun to read if you like the polar style. I was sensitive to the quality of drawings and very neat details (faces, night lights).
