Coax-Optical Converter (Philips DCC - MAC)

Ligawo audio converter Coaxial to Toslink: This converter allows (for example) a Philips DCC (digital 18Bit recording on cassette), in my case, the model 951, that only has a coaxial output to a MacBook Pro (integrated optical input) Connect transferred to analogue and digital tapes to the computer. The converter operates in this case without any problems, the used audio software (Audacity) could process the signal without difficulty. However, for the connection between converter and DCC I recommend to use a more polished, short cable (eg from the Wire World Chroma or UltraViolet series). The short test with a "freebie" cables (not of this converter, this is none at) resulted in a totally unusable signal.
