Also, the game is good scope [playing time from me to finish the story 42 hours] and has to finish the story enough playing time at the completion of Pokedexes.
--------- --------- For Game
Pokemon as you know and love / hate:
The first minutes seem to me yet very familiar, so the very first Pokemon began that I had at that time still played one as an import when I was about 9 or 10.
Story --->
And even today, not much has changed story-wise: to play a child of the home going draws to explore the world and to catch many, many Pokemon or to Verden to Pokemon Master / Champ.
So far is it all about the history of Pokemon X / Y told, of course, there are here and there still pseudo-dramatic highlights but never carried away emotionally or cause whatsoever feelings for the story is simply too flat, the acting "faceless" / exchanged and the story twist has been known for about 15 years and can foresee characters to after about 2h Time.
Pokemon diversity ->
But the story does matter here not necessarily to: Pokemon, which means as much as collecting fever, round tactical battles and the "level up" from "Pokemon" learn depending on the type and nature of different attacks and develop in different ways continue.
And this is precisely where the strength of the latest scion of the Pokemon saga: the Pokemon are great and gestalltet extremely different: from Cute on the evil to cool and extremely strange place in the entire spectrum of the adjectives that can be used to describe one or more of Pokemon Pokemon ,
Types System --->
There are many different types Pokemon that are against other types sometimes more and sometimes less efficient and there has
changed to the familiar mechanics not much: water drops as fire, fire melts ice and fairies carved dragons really on the mouth (?).
I am as a player of the First and Second Generation Pokemon with many of the now existing types and weaknesses not so very familiar, then handed a fire, a water, a stone and mineral an electric Pokemon completely from the "Poke-League" by playing in one go.
But today there is also steel, Psycho, Fee, Unlicht, soil and rock (where is the difference?) And many other types of Pokemon have all the other weaknesses.
The combination of different Pokemon types such spirit and rock are tactically a real challenge if you own only Pokemon in the same level.
Difficulty --->
And here comes one of my (next to the story) a few criticisms: the difficulty is a bit too low for my taste, why one leads nich as in countless other games 3 different levels of difficulty, a?
But for kids who probably preferred target group is the default difficulty right: Pokemon Y is never frustrating and you annoyed but then if you take a fight to win narrowly.
If you lose, you lose some money eh plays a subordinate role here, and can then start again from the last "hospital".
Mini games --->
What surprised me, however, the fact that there is now not only the "Pokemon-board" but also various Minspiele: you can now, for example, stroke his Pokemon and feeding what the familiarity improved.
Or to play a sort of "football" mini game where we to various areas aimed at a balloon to get points.
You have finally enough to a property of the Pokemons such as assault or initiative improved.
Online --->
The online mode has surprised me more positive: one can accidentally change places with anyone in the world a Pokemon, what you get is always a surprise and it also fairly common occurrence that one exchanges with players from Japan have very different then than Pokemon oneself.
In addition, you can look for a certain Pokemon in online mode search that then can be offered by other players.
In addition, you can now also run the online battles have ended sometimes with defeat quite, but tactically definitely are more exciting than the battles against the AI.
Personalization / scope --->
Again, I was amazed: Now I can friesiern my Charkter, dress him and even choose the eye color.
The selection here is admittedly not as gigantic as in example GTA5 but still pretty neat.
The scope is quite well: I needed to Pokemon Y by playing 42 hours, but I still need a lot of Pokemon, which provides safe again for about 20 hours of play time.
Graphics --->
Here you can Pokemon for 3DS ratios points: the 3D effect is very beautiful, the colors also very good and the frame rate is reasonably stable.
Only occasional stuttering / framerate dips in battles happened to me mad at (felt drops the frame rate to 10-15 frames for about 1-2 seconds, but returns to normal after that again)
The areas are also nice gestalltet only falls every now and then but the lack of "real" 3D on (Pokemon Y is half "top-down")
Collecting personal opinion --->
[My conclusion that I have written specially as objective as possible can be found at the top of Rezesion]
I for one am not a Pokemon fan, I may have grown up with Pokemon but it has never really excited me and that's why I find it all the more astonishing that my newest work of Pokemon saga has yet fallen quite well.
All in all, should the developers at Nintendo nevertheless times compel something new to make clear that the well-known concept but may not be so easy to throw overboard a bit more innovation, I would have been desired.
