Color intensity of earrings compared to the matching necklace

I've thought long whether I should me the earrings to the chain that I've got a gift, buy. This had to do with the many recessions that are here and where it was said that the earrings were of the color of her, much brighter than the chain of stone. Today I get the earrings and have to say that I can understand this criticism in any way! Did the earrings placed next to the chain and the color intensity of the earrings is the same as that of the chain!
