I like erinner to the day when I learned about the release of "Late Registration". It came to joy, for "The College Dropout" was simply the high-flyer album from 2004. Not only hip hop fans could strike, but fans from all genres. That's "Late Registration" not only made for Hip Hopper / was, you will quickly find. "Heard em Say" is a collabo with Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5, and is definitely a great song also like the funky "Touch the sky". "Gold Digger" is also a bit weaker, until then only times going downhill. "Drive Slow", "My Way Home" and in particular "Crack Music" are provided for the skip button, speak album filler. With "Roses" it is better that initiates the actual climax of "Bring Me Down" with Brandy (for the album worth already) that, however abrupt an ending with the boring "Addiction". The 2 versions of Diamonds in Sierra Leone, "Celebration" and "Hey Mama" are the last tracks that you can hear well, especially the last two are not yet the top hit. Otherwise, the album runs at the end! Sure, many tracks are found, which are quite good. But here I can choose favorite tracks, the predecessor was not! Conclusion: Good Hip Hop album not met what expectations very tempered. 3 stars deserves it, after all too many inconsequential tracks are located and the good are not more than just good. Highlights, but then justify the purchase: Heard em say Touch the sky Bring me down Diamonds from Sierra Leone Yo Mama
