The first experience with Bluetooth speakers I gained with the D100 from Creative, this was indeed the sound of her quite well, but always had to due to a lack of battery an electrical outlet near his, or halt batteries. Since the speakers are only intended for domestic use, but should still be worn without outlet from room to room, I opted for the Airwave HD and the D100 now completely replaced.
After unpacking, first falls on the shape and weight: The Speaker presented in a simple form, which is better suited to my organization. The weight is decent, but one stands out definitely no break to the speakers. ;-)
The Bluetooth connection to my PC (Windows 8.1 Pro x64), and the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (Android 4.4.2, floor) works quickly and easily. In addition, the Speaker have an NFC chip, which has recognized instantly my Lumia 925 (Windows 8.1 "Denim") and a coupling device demands - Super!
However, the biggest surprise was the sound quality because of rich bass and clear sound of the front speakers only allow myself amazed by the undefined sounding D100ern what comes out of the much smaller loudspeakers as to sound out. Whether the latest MONSTERCAT sampler, a Spotify playlist or the latest track of Hollywood Undead - these speakers deliver from a wonderful sound quality. High-quality music files from Bandcamp are transmitted as reliably via Bluetooth, even if the source is not in the same room. The battery lasts at low volume by good 8 hours, and even charging via Mini-USB is quick of hand.
When opportunity calls over the Speaker to accept the good call quality falls on, but the voice control for reading or ignoring SMS is a little bumpy. However, this is only mentioned in passing by me, because it was not a criterion for purchasing this Speaker.
To have a total of a little powerhouse with zusätlicher NFC function and the possibility of 2 devices simultaneously connected to make a smoother exchange between the devices is possible. The range of the source need not be particularly low, for example, so I can leave the smartphone in the living room and wearing the Speaker in the kitchen - without interruptions!
For my purposes enough & with currently almost 45 a real bargain.
