Compare Ballkissen a Sitzball

After persistent back problems caused by excessively long sitting I was looking for an alternative in which I can change the seating position in a sitting position regularly. By moving I can (ideally) relieve my back, prevent hardening of the muscles and even strengthen the muscles. Although the movement is not a substitute for a back workout, but definitely a good support.

I initially ordered in March 2012 on the recommendation of various colleagues and my physiotherapist me Dynair pillows. The advantage over a real ball is that you can put on the available desk chair simple and can take it on demand for another work or when traveling.

After the pillow I was initially excited arrived. Shipping quickly and easily, pillow in top condition. The pillows had no unpleasant plastic smell.

I regret to say that I (at that time) could really get used to sitting on the pillow with me pain not. It was subjectively just not comfortable.

I have therefore in June 2012 a seat Ball (blue, size 75cm, more Info's to the ball as shown below) as an alternative sitting in the office in usage and find it really good. In fact, my seats accommodates on the ball a lot more than on the ball cushion. Meanwhile, the chair is in my office just decoration, I sit and just working on the ball. I move more and my back is more relaxed than on the ball cushion.

I have ventured recently when I had the pad once again in his hand, another attempt. Ball away, chair ago, pillow top. After an hour I switched back on the ball, even without pain in the back sitting on the right ball for me was subjectively much more pleasant. Therefore, I have now passed on the pillow within the family. :-)

I know people who swear by the pillow and get away with it on very well. Therefore I can only recommend, if possible, to borrow such a cushion of friends / acquaintances even before buying it. If you buy it and you (like me) can not cope (I've learned) can be found quickly someone in the family who is pleased with the pillows.

In a nutshell it can be said: The ball can be - unlike other balls that I had - properly fixed Inflate (I use an electric pump) and thus offers a very pleasant sitting pleasure.

Unfortunately, it takes a while until the ball is "really" ready for use. In particular, in the first two weeks after delivery, I felt the Plasik smell very disturbing. Only after about two to three months the smell was completely gone.

Generally it should be noted that the ball (if it is to be used as a seat) both for height (I am 1.80m, and the desk height (is the table height should fit 84 cm). I chose a 75 cm ball and thus am very satisfied.
I would not hesitate to buy the ball again and recommend to anyone who applies the time to let him be odorless.
