Amidst classic (Honky Tonk Women, Tumbling Dice, Brown Sugar ...) and some beads (Let It Rock, Love In Vain, Sweet Little Sixteen ...), the Stones are reviewing virtually all of their last album to date at the time (therefore Some Girls). The group, full of energy (contrary to what Jagger turning a song), delivering polished versions of their latest titles. Special mention to Beast Of Burden and Miss You where the rhythm section does wonders.
Regarding the sound of vinyl, without being transcendent, we just found the flexibility and softness of the rhythm section (which seems to have been lost on the CD version to its too hard), the guitars have more presence and voice seems broader and warm. We would have appreciated less compression anyway, which would have more clarity and less muffled sound.
